nice hot bunwich

It’s the hap-hap-happiest time of the year, right? So why are we all so exhausted? And why is everyone so hungry? Wouldn’t it be great to pull a rabbit out of your hat about now? How about if you could pull a sandwich out of the freezer and in a matter of minutes have it gooey, hot and ready?  Well, you can do it and here’s the easy recipe.

bunwich recipe

Years ago I did a little work for a gal who told me about these little marvels. She called them “Andy’s Sandwiches” because every time her grandson came home from college he’d root around in the freezer for some of these tasty bunwiches. Recently, I ran into her daughter-in-law who is now a PEO sister. I confessed I’d lost the recipe and by the time I got home the neatly typed recipe was waiting for me in my inbox! I was thrilled!

Here’s the recipe for your enjoyment. I did try it with smoked turkey because I have friends who do not eat pork and they turned out great too! My advice? Hang onto this recipe because you’re going to want to make it again and again!
